DELETE ME

Privacy

Short version: the Delete Me app doesn’t collect anything.

What Delete Me reads

With your permission, Delete Me reads the photos in your library on your iPhone so it can show them to you, one at a time. If you choose Limited Access, it only sees the photos you picked.

What Delete Me changes

Delete Me only deletes photos you marked and then confirmed. iOS asks you before any photo is deleted, and deleted photos go to Recently Deleted in the Photos app, where you can recover them for 30 days.

What Delete Me stores

Your progress — which photos you kept or marked, which parts you finished, and how much space you freed — is saved on your device only.

What Delete Me shares

Nothing. Delete Me has no account, no server, no analytics, and no advertising. Your photos and your progress are never uploaded, sold, or shared with anyone, including Theprahok Inc., the company that makes Delete Me.

iCloud Photos

If your photos are stored in iCloud, Apple’s Photos framework downloads them from your own iCloud account so Delete Me can show them. That happens between your iPhone and Apple; nothing is sent to Theprahok Inc.

Deleting your data

Deleting Delete Me removes everything it stored. Your photos stay in your library, which Delete Me doesn’t own. You can also clear your progress in the app with Settings › Reset progress.

Early access sign-ups

This applies to the website, not the app. If you sign up for early access, the email address and answers you enter are stored in Google Forms, which Theprahok Inc. uses only to send you a beta invite and news about Delete Me’s launch. They are never sold or shared. To be removed, email the address below and your response will be deleted.
